MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Our mission is to showcase the best mockumentaries from around the world, gathering fans and filmmakers together to celebrate the beauty and brilliance of the mockumentary genre at the center of it all, Hollywood, California.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
MOCKFEST is the first film festival solely devoted to the mockumentary, a groundbreaking film style capable of bending reality and shaping human perceptions. MOCKFEST features mockumentaries of all types and lengths, comedic, dramatic, and experimental, and will showcase works from the past, present and future. The festival's most highly prized characteristic in filmmaking is innovation. All films that are selected to appear at the 2008 festival will have that in common. Exceptional films may be chosen for additional screenings as exhibition pieces at partner festivals.

G.R. CLAVERIA (Festival Director / Executive of Innovation)

G.R. Claveria is a national award winning writer, producer and director. His innovative independent films have been showcased at numerous festivals and have been recognized by Ohio State Senator (Tom Roberts). Claveria is currently a full time humanities and multi-media instructor with over six years of teaching experience.

Alesha Noice (Grand Potentate of Logistics / Administrative Coordinator)

Alesha Joy is a published children's game writer and award winning filmmaker. She is currently a full time children's games writer and is currently teaching part time as a communications instructor.

D.S. FLORES (Resident Bad Ass of Design / Official Mockfest Judge)

D.S. Flores is latest member of MOCKFEST. His graphic design skills have led him to be the head designer of all MOCKFEST graphics and is currrently a big part of making all this happen.
